Welcome. For all of us who admire the world we live in, here you will find many of the beautiful creatures we share this planet with. A piece of our jewelry as a memento, a totem, a keepsake, a gift, or a symbol is as special as the reason you desire it. Tom and Lisa are the owners and designers, the creators and the imagineers. Lisa grew up at the ocean's edge, exploring the New England woods and pollywog ponds and playing in the canyons of the southwest. Whether a horned toad, a horse, a dog or a starfish she was enamored with every living thing as witnessed by her mother who wrote on the frontpiece of the book By the Seashore, "to LIsa, who loves all living things" when Lisa was only 6 years old. For Tom, he finds animals to be wonderful friends and influences in our lives. They are companions and wonderful spirits. Thoreau's message rings true to all of us who admire nature: "We need the tonic of wildness...we can never have enough of nature."
Both Tom and Lisa had a strong art background and were drawn to miniatures by the time they were in high school. In college they both discovered the art of lost wax casting, after college they discovered each other, and now, for more than 30 years they have been creating jewelry. Where their hearts remain is creating animal jewelry, spirit symbols of earth's creatures.
In creating our jewelry every effort is made to recycle everything possible. The box your piece is mailed in may be recycled, so expect a "used" box. The packing material will be recycled, the gift box is made from recycled paper and has a cotton filler inside. The jewelry itself is made in the USA, usually by us and sometimes by a long time friend of ours.
